Regular public consultation for Hawke's Bay Regional Council often involves presenting complex information in an easily understood and memorable format.

As part of the consulting process for their Long Term Plan in 2015, HBRC made extensive use of animated video - published on YouTube and online on the regional council website.
​
The video introduced the LTP to ratepayers, and promoted the more detailed information which followed in community paper inserts.
