Although this is a project from way back, the logo is still a personal favourite.

 

The shapes evoke a theatre mask, transformation (butterfly) and tā moko. Fitting for the original launch of the redeveloped theatre complex.

The logo was already within the building, waiting to be discovered - all there in the shapes of the detailing from the old theatre ceiling.

We're looking forward to seeing the theatre come to life once again. And when that time comes, you can look up and see the shapes of the logo for yourself.
